The National Federation „Klass” from Croatia has organized in Slovanski Brod – Slobodnica an excellent performance on the second day of Easter. The President of the Federation Stefan Kovacievic together with the fellows from his hometown have worked hard to produce an international event inviting seven groups from different parts of Croatia and the folklore group “Cununa de pe Someș” from Bistrita – Romania. The numerous audience have applauded the dancers, the music and the costumes on open stage. The hosts took care to offer diplomas and awards to all participants.
The President of the I.G.F. prof. dr. Dorel Cosma who took part in the event held interesting talks in view of future collaboration with the Croatian authorities. The meeting with Mayor Josip Pavic from Slobodnica and with the Prefect of the District dr. Danijel Marusic were also fruitful. The IGF was given a full presentation with regards to its cooperation with the „Klass” Federation in major international events. Both the IGF and the „Klass” Federation were present in the local T.V. network.
The Klass” Federation and the group from Slobosnica, lead by Ștefan Kovacievic did a very fine job and deserve our congratulations.
