The “IGF Caravan” 2017 event will be held this year in Portugal and Spain, between 15 and 19 June. This year, the responsible of organizing this event is the Vice-President of I.G.F., Jose Antonio Vinas.
The official opening will take place in the town of Arnoia, next to the river Arnoia and in the vicinity of the Spa, in a natural enclave of great scenic beauty.
During all the days of the “I.G.F. Folk Caravan”, the attendees will be able to enjoy musical performances of Romania, France, Italy, Israel, Vietnam, Spain (Canary Islands), Cyprus and Spain (Galicia) with magnificent scenarios that will allow public to enjoy the charms of popular music.
Initiated in 2011 ”I.G.F Caravan Folklore”, invites each year singers from different countries, who will present traditional music specific for their countries. The folk costume is obligatory. Music for accompaniment can be on CD or with instruments . The Caravan will be supported by each organizing country. I.G.F that will award all participantat at the final show.
The “I.G.F Folk Caravan” organization is discussed and established annually in the I.G.F Board Council.
