I.G.F. BOARD MEETING BISTRITA / Oct. 1st 2016
v INTRODUCTION :
- President Dorel Cosmawelcomes all people of the board and thanks for being here in Bistrita.
The Mayor of the city of Bistrita welcomes as well members of the IGF Board.
He explains how it is important for him to support culture and folklore. He doesn’t forget that when he was young he danced in a folklore group. He reminds that at communism time, to be member of a folklore group was a way to travel abroad, to go out of the country. Today frontiers are free.
Young people don’t have the same purposes. He is aware that leaders of groups have to find other objectives for young people to participate.
He thinks it is very important to professionalize folklore groups as it is already the case in Ukrainia, Russia…. For him, political people of local and central authorities are responsible for it.
He confirms his support to Dorel Cosma, he says he is lucky to have him in his town.
