January 15 was marked in Bistrița by an exceptional cultural event, held in an elegant setting, at the “Diana” Complex. Under the aegis of the “Seal of Solomon” Cultural Association and the IGF World Folklore Union, in partnership with BC-MEDIA, the Union of Professional Journalists of Romania and the Union of Writers of Romania – Sibiu Branch, an Excellence Gala was held that highlighted the authentic values of Romanian and universal culture.
The event was dedicated, symbolically and emotionally, to the Star of Romanian poetry – Mihai Eminescu, whose verses vibrated on the stage of the celebration, ennobled by high-class artistic interpretations. Eminescu’s poetry harmoniously intertwined with popular music and dance, with moments of modern music, but also with the apotheosis of classical music, through the voices of great performers from Romania and Italy.
During the Gala, awards of excellence were awarded to prominent personalities of national and international cultural life, recognized for their remarkable contribution to the promotion of the spiritual and artistic values of the contemporary world. Fields such as literature, journalism, music, folklore and acting were represented by prestigious names, from the country and abroad.
The international book and folk art exhibition completed the atmosphere of the celebration, offering the public a framework conducive to intercultural dialogue and the celebration of the spiritual heritage of peoples. The entire event took place in an atmosphere of elegance, refinement and high intellectual conduct, confirming Bistrița’s vocation as a space for the encounter between tradition and modernity.
Under the sign of Eminescu, this exceptional Gala established itself as a prestigious cultural landmark, demonstrating that art and spirit can unite people, cultures and destinies in a celebration of universal value.
