I.G.F. GOLD STAR NOMINATED 2019 – BULGARIA, NIKOLAI DOINOV

NIkolay Doynov was born in Sofia in 1963. He graduated the Classical Lyceum and Philology at the Sofia University. He has ten books and over 2000 publications. His main interests are in the sphere of folk culture and oral traditions. A screenwriter and director of the biggest folk performances in the last decade – each with more than 2000 participants, who have also been issued with dividends. It has been awarded the highest state awards in Bulgaria for the writer Anita Tarasevic and has two daughters
