These days the great artist, director and conductor, president of the National Folklore Association of the Ukraine – Zenon Kolobych – distinguished with the title Artist of the Perople in his homeland and many other prizes in the international folklore movement – also a member of the Board of the IGF who has promoted in his entire activity prefessionalism, friendship understanding and a humanist spirit. His passing away is a great loss both for his family, for the Ukrainean culture and for the world folklore. The members of the IGF board express their sympathy to the mourning family and show their total support in this tragic moment. May his soul rest in peace
