Dear friends
Little by little we are approaching the end of the year 2019. With the new year our manifestations set for 2020 are about to begin. After the General Assembly in France, there have been some changes that I want to communicate to you before this year should end. I had the pleasure of a meeting at the State Presidency of Bulgaria, where for 45 minutes I had special discussions and presented the activity of IGF and as a sign of gratitude I received from the Vice President of the State – the special distinction and thanks for our activity. We also offered the IGF – 70 platinum and the album dedicated to the 70 years IGF. Thanks go to our colleague Rosen Bogdanov for the excellent organization and reception in Sofia.
In November we responded to the invitation of our colleague Oleg Fedorovici and I participated in the 80th anniversary of the activity of the Folklore Institute he leads in Mogilev – the Republic of Belarus. I was impressed by the artistic strength of the wonderful people of Belarus and I had an intervention to present the IGF at the International Symposium. From the discussions, we have noticed the interest of countries in that part of the world who want to collaborate with us. I am looking forward to the requests and we intend to organize in Mogilev an IGF center under the leadership of Oleg, for the countries in this part of the world.
For the year 2020 we will have the following great moments for which you are expected to mobilize and participate.

JUNE 2020 – IGF CARAVAN (2) – SPAIN
JULY 2020 – FOLCLORE OSCAR – BULGARIA – BOARD MEETING
OCTOBER – 2020 – BOARD MEETING – MOGILEV BELARUS
I am asking all colleagues to analyze these objectives and to send proposals for both the CARAVAN and for OSCAR.
