A festival meeting of the IGF was held in Bistrița, Romania, chaired by the president, dr. Dorel Cosma and attended by the members of the Executive Board – Rene Sourisoau – France, Pahone Pop – Romania, Zenon Kolybych – Ukraine.
On this occasion two countries were granted new membership of this international organisation: India and Vietnam, represented by Falguni Shah, director of the Spadani ensemble and Nguyen Thang Vuong, respectively. The ambassador of Vietnam în Paris, H. E. Nguyen Ngoc Son, the ambassador of Romania în Vietnam, H.E. Valeriu Artemi and the director of the National Theatre in Hanoi also honoured the meeting.
The new memberships were voted by all board members and received with great joy by the two countries in view of an incremented cooperation in the future.
